Strange... I just received an email from Google AdSense that my account application was rejected because this site ISN'T IN ENGLISH!
Wonder what language I'm typing in now... And what I've been speaking my whole life!
Anyway, I've done a resubmission. Let's see what happens this time...

Restoran Rahim Bistro Corner, CBD Perdana 1, Cyberjaya
Well, so much for eating healthier...
View Restoran Rahim Bistro Corner in a larger map
Nothing really special about this place. Just a standard mamak, but it's probably currently the most popular mamak around the CBD Perdana area because it's the first thing you see entering the area.
Standard mamak affair here... All the staple food like mee goreng, fried rice, nasi kandar and roti canai. Everything also got!
Prices are not inflated so it's good for the office workers and students around the area. My (ahem) healthy-looking Indo mee goreng ayam here was RM5.80. Add a RM1.80 Cam Ais and it's a good, affordable meal.
There's another mamak around the back of the neighbouring block, but the food isn't as good as Rahim.
So next time you are stuck out here in God-forsaken Cyberjaya and in need of some cheap-chow, check out Rahim.

Dessert's Bar, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort
I wanted a quick bite to eat yesterday and was tired of the MJ Cafe at the bottom of my condominium, so I decided to give the lunch deal at Dessert's Bar a try.
They have a pretty good lunch deal going on now - main meal, smoothie drink and parfait dessert, all between RM10.90-13.90, depending on the main meal. Here's what you can choose from, with the prices for the lunch set:
Main:
I had for myself the...
The quesadilla was nicely done, with the chicken, cheese and onions striking a nice balance in taste. The portion wasn't excessing and, along with the garden salad, was just right to fill the tummy over lunch.
The Pineapple smoothie was a tad bland for my taste though. Should have gone for their signature grape smoothie instead, but I've had that before and wanted to try something different.
The Parfait was yummy! I guess that's why they name themselves after their desserts no? It was not too sweet and blueberry and cheese blended very nicely, without one overpowering the other.
Overall, a great value for lunch deal. It's available daily from 12pm - 4pm, but I'm not sure whether the other Dessert's Bar branches like in Hartamas Shopping Center and Subang Parade have the similar deal, but if they do, it really should appeal to the office hour lunch crowd.

Automatic Restaurant & Cafeteria/Grill, Abu Dhabi
How strange that my first food blog is going to come from Abu Dhabi! I can't sleep now and since I've got nothing to do in my hotel room, I thought that I might as well write about my dinner tonight.
My colleague and I decided to check out the mall near our hotel call Al Mariah Mall (perhaps the owner is a big fan of Mariah Carey? =p) and I noticed this very peculiar named restaurant...
Yes, it's called Automatic. I had to check it to make sure I was reading it right. For some reasons, visions of robot waiters or laundry machines came to mind when I confirmed the name of the restaurant.
Anyway, despite having had lots of meat for the last couple of days we have been in Abu Dhabi, we decided to check this place out as there were only fast food joints nearby and we were dead-tired already.
When having dinner the night before, I saw a lot of people order this multi-coloured drink and was wondering what it was, so when I saw something similar in the menu, I had to give it a try.
Turns out it was just a Fruit Cocktail (DHS12... which is about RM12). It's a mixture of avocado, strawberry, mango and javata. It was sweet... and weird... It was basically just a fruit smoothie, so it would have probably been better if I just drank it layered as it was and not mix it... =p
As we were still really full from all the meat eating, my colleague and I decided to split an Automatic Mix Gril (DHS30).
The spread was not much, but just nice for the two of us who have been on meat overload for the last 3 days we have been here. Just some 2 types of grilled chicken, lamb kebab and some gizzard (which I gave to my colleague since I hate the stuff... =p ). Oh and of course the necessary Lebanese bread and super pickled vegies.
Other than the gizzards (which my colleague liked), I thought this dish was tasty and well worth the DHS30.
Watch out for the waiter though, who will Automatically (Ha ha ha!) pour you water from a DHS4 bottle of mineral water without asking if you don't stop him.

Whoa... Psychedelic mocktail dude...

"You expect me to eat that???"
Hmmm... A bit of a snag on the food blog plan...
My little point-and-shoot camera's flash is too bright! Makes all the food look like someone poured talcum powder all over it. At best, it makes it look like the plastic display food that you find outside Japanese restaurants.
Not enticing at all...
I believe one of the key features of a food blog is tasty looking photos, so it looks like it's time look around for a more suitable camera.
Wonder how much is these DSLR thingies... THREE THOUS...!?!? Ermm... Maybe I'll just post the talcum powder and try my luck... =p

Food Glorious Food!
If there's one thing that I love, it's eating! Yes, yes... It's obvious from my pictures... =p
Good food needs to be enjoyed and shared by all, so here is where I will babble about the different places and types of food that I've had and will have. Some good, some bad and all totally my own personal opinion.
Hopefully people will find this useful and interesting. Share your thoughts too if you have some babble to blab!
Bon appetite!
